You know those moments when the dots connect left and right, and it feels like you’re stepping into one meaningful coincidence after the next?

This is the zone I like to call “Synchronicity Highway.”

Its when you enter the space and place where your heart, your work, your message and your environment intersect at such a high rate, things can’t help but fall into place.

So where’s the exit to get on?

1. Believe it exists. Half the battle is believing it’s actually possible to create magic and luck and the circumstances around you. Believe there may be clues, and clues you shall find. Believe you’re the one shaping your life, and shape you will.

2. Craft a compelling story. Whether you’re traveling the world to capture love stories, writing a book in 100 days, or making 64 paintings in less than a month for a gallery show, be your message and tell everyone you know. You always have the opportunity to craft a story, and that’s what inspires others to get involved and spread the word.

3. Design for flow. Pay attention to when you’re in flow, what sparks it, and design for it. Travel is when I feel like my best self, and so I design my life to make room for it. When I’m “home,” I aim to treat each day as if I’m traveling. This allows me to step into a space of presence and ease, which is where the magic generally happens.

4. Be here now. If you’re staring at your device all day, you’re not going to step into chance or notice the beauty around you. Notice your breath — the inhale and the exhale — to come back to this moment and allow the future to unfold.
